The ushers are a very important presence at Sunday Masses, Holy Days, and special services. As they greet and welcome people at the door, they are the first face of the parish people will encounter.  Friendly smiles, directing people to available seats, and helping anyone needing assistance is to be Christ to others. Ushers assist with the collection, distribute bulletins, and straighten the books in the pews following Mass.
