St. Vincent de Paul

St. Paul in his letter to the Ephesians told us that we should put away the old self and put on the new self. How do we do that? The Catechism (paragraph 1473) tells us that we will achieve that goal by the practice of the Works of Mercy:

1) Feed the hungry
2) Clothe the naked
3) Give drink to the thirsty
4) Visit the imprisoned
5) Shelter the homeless
6) Care for the sick
7) Bury the dead

How can I do that? Join the Holy Angels St. Vincent de Paul Conference. We meet the second and fourth Saturday of the month 8:00-9:45am.

Chuck Wagon Meals

Parishioners provide dinner for the St. Vincent Hotel and the Booth House on the second Friday of each month. Following Mass the weekend before, volunteers sign up to bring a casserole (pan and recipe provided), two-dozen cookies, canned vegetables/fruit, or fresh fruit. Donations are brought to the Sacristy on Friday (the day of the meal) from 7:15-10:30 am. Cash donations are also accepted.
